Peachy Pizzazz Smoothie








A great smoothie recipe to try....refreshingly nice !

INGREDIENTS :
* 6 ounces orange juice
* 2 ounces soy milk
* 1 peeled and frozen banana
* 3 to 5 frozen strawberries
* 1 fresh peeled peach
* 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS

Put all ingredients in a blender and whip at high speed until smooth. Pour into two, 8 ounce glasses. The peachy smoothie is ready to serve...nice and cool ! Great one for after feasts ! Enjoy it !

Yummy Banana Smoothie









Try this amazing smoothie recipe...a nice and fresh taste !

Ingredients

* 1 cup fruit juice, chilled
* 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
* 1 cup plain or vanilla nonfat yogurt
* 1 large banana, cut up

Directions

1. In a blender container combine fruit juice, strawberries, yogurt, and banana. Cover and blend until smoth. Makes one 12-ounce glass. Great banana smoothies is ready to serve..cool ! Enjoy !

Ingredients

* 2 ripe small bananas
* 1 cup frozen unsweetened whole strawberries
* 1 8-ounce carton vanilla low-fat yogurt
* 3/4 cup milk

Directions

1. Peel bananas. Cut bananas into chunks. Place banana chunks, frozen strawberries, yogurt, and milk into blender a container.
2. Cover blender and blend on high speed about 1 minute or until mixture is smooth. Turn off blender. Pour drink into 2 glasses. If desired, serve with pieces of toast spread with peanut butter. Makes 2 servings...great strawberry smoothies...cool and nice ! Enjoy it !

BANANA STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIES

Ingredients

Peach Melba Smoothie








Try this great smoothie recipe..the nice Peach Melba Smoothie...nice one !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup frozen sliced peaches
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup fat-free sugar-free vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tbsp wheat germ
  • Granulated sugar substitue equal to 1 tsp sugar, optional (see package label)
  • 1 cup ice (see Note)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened orange-juice concentrate, thawed
INSTRUCTIONS
Place the ingredients in the order listed in a large blender. Pulse once or twice, then blend until smooth. Great taste smoothie !

Mixed-Fruit Smoothies













Try this fresh smoothie recipe....a nice one !

Ingredients

* 2 bananas, chilled
* 2/3 cup strawberries or mango slices
* 1 12-ounce can grape juice or mango, apricot, strawberry, or other fruit nectar, chilled
* 1 8-ounce carton fat-free yogurt
* 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
* 2 tablespoons ground pistachio nuts (optional)

Directions

In a blender combine bananas, strawberries or mango slices, grape juice or fruit nectar, yogurt, and, if desired, honey. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour into six tall, chilled glasses. If desired, sprinkle with ground pistachio nuts. Makes 6 smoothies.
Note: For two-tone smoothies, make mango smoothies and strawberry smoothies. Transfer to separate pitchers or glass measuring cups. Taking a pitcher or cup in each hand, slowly pour both smoothies at the same time into opposite sides of the glass...great tasting smoothies..enjoy !

Smoothie Sailing


Ingredients

* 1 medium banana
* 1 8-ounce can crushed pineapple (juice pack)
* 1 8-ounce carton vanilla yogurt
* 1 cup orange juice
* Orange wedges, if you like

Directions

1. Remove peel from banana. Place banana on cutting board. Use the table knife to cut the banana into chunks. Wrap banana chunks in plastic wrap or place in a small plastic bag. Freeze banana chunks for at least 2 hours.

2. Use can opener to open the can of pineapple. Put the undrained pineapple, frozen banana chunks, yogurt, and orange juice into the blender container.
3. Cover blender with the lid and blend on high speed about 1 minute or until mixture is smooth. Turn off blender. Pour drink into 4 glasses. Use the rubber scraper to get all of the drink out
of the blender. If you like, place an orange wedge on the edge of each glass for decoration. Makes 4 (6-ounce) servings...great tasting smoothie ! Enjoy it !

Sparkling Fruit Smoothie


Ingredients:

* 1 cup orange sherbet
* 1 cup strawberries
* 1 cup pineapple chunks, drained
* 1 1/2 cups sparkling water

Preparation:
Combine sherbet and fruit in a blender and blend until thick and smooth. Stir in sparkling water until thoroughly mixed...great tasting smoothie...enjoy it !

Peanut Butter Smoothie

Ingredients:

* 1 cup milk
* 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
* 2 tbs smooth peanut butter
* 1 banana, frozen

Preparation:
Break the banana into chunks, and then combine with the other ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
